Have given this book multiple times to new mothers and they all rave about the great information. Newborns are different than infants and this book understands how daunting it is to have this new person who has newly emerged into you life and is totally dependent on your care. Highly recommend this book.

I’m an expectant mother and this book has been absolutely amazing so far. I’m about a quarter of the way through it and have found it to have invaluable information so far. This is the best book I’ve read out of the 3 others I’ve already read. Seems to really prepare you and give you an idea of what to expect. It’s a simple read and has some fun humor thrown in too.

If you need a “hey is this normal???” reference as a parent of a newborn, this book is pretty good. It isn’t loaded with doomsday stuff and anxiety jacking craziness like so many of the pregnancy/newborn/infant reference books. I borrowed a copy when I had my first child. And bought myself the updated copy when I had my second child.
