    This book was the perfect gift to myself! It has simple, actionable and truly doable tips for a healthy life! I loved the format as I don’t have time to sit down and dive in deep into science – I love that Dr. Lipman has done that for me and gives me the best nuggets of what I NEED to know. I also like that the focus is not ONLY on diet – but includes lifestyle and exercise tips too. I definitely know that for myself managing stress is just as important as eating well. The book is also beautiful and something I will keep on my nightstand forever for continuos inspiration and motivation.

    It is a beautiful book with practical advice, but nothing new or revolutionary. The book is very small! That took me by surprise. It’s a very quick read too, only 20 minutes to quickly look through 220 pages. I would compare it to great advice you would get from your mom… You just have to be ready to accept it and put it into practice. A good price, but not a necessity buy.

    Although this book is based on years of research, it delivers advice on how to find your way back to health and a healthy lifestyle in a straight and simple way. The reader is not asked to trudge through the research, simply to receive its benefits. It is rare to see the breadth of knowledge covering foods, supplements, home/personal care products, excercise and more, gathered in one place and delivered in such a direct way. Plus it’s well written and the photos are beautiful! Individuals beginning the journey of learning how to take care of themselves will value it as an inspiring, enjoyable and masterful introductory book – the 101 course for healthy living; while connoisseurs in healthy living will value it for having collected so many normally disparate but related subjects in one place, providing reminders for watchfulness and starting points for further improvements. I’m going to keep this one close and give it / recommend it for the people I care about.
