I overzealously bought this kit prior to the birth of my son. While the quality is fine, I’ve realized we didn’t particularly need a kit.

Any medication you buy will come with a dropper, we file his nails, and we got a nasal aspirator (which is nicer than this one) to bring home from the hospital.

The only item in the kit that may come in useful is the thermometer; if I had things to do over, I’d just buy one by itself.

Not worth it, September 7, 2012

As the other reviews state, thermometer is not practical because it counts up by the tenth of a degree. Who has time for that?
The aspirator has no suction. It’s a good idea to have a latch for easier cleaning, but it’s no good.
We’ve used the clippers. That’s it.
Save your money and get better quality items separately.

The thermometer takes a long time to get a read & nose bulb doesn’t work…, July 1, 2015

I was not happy with my purchase. For the price I guess it’s worth it but you get what you pay for, so to speak… The nose bulb does not even work, the thermometer takes a long time to get a read (which is very inconvenient with a scrimy, crying baby), and it’s all very cheaply made. The only thing that I have no complaints about is the fingernail clippers which I’ve been using with no problem…
